He also held executive finance positions with McKesson Corporation and audit and advisory management positions with Ernst & Young. Prior to Cesca, Plavan served as CFO with venture and private equity-backed technology companies, including Strion Air, Inc. Most recently, Plavan served in multiple executive capacities, including CFO, COO and CEO with Cesca Therapeutics, Inc. Plavan will join the company’s executive team as chief financial officer. Messman has also spent several years as an investment banker.Īrcadia Biosciences, Inc. Messman previously handled corporate financial planning for a major semiconductor manufacturer. Messman most recently served as the CFO at Telogis, which sold to Verizon in August of this year.
